NELLORE, NOV. 8. The Technical Education Minister, N. Narasimha Reddy, has said that the AICC president, Sonia Gandhi, "will bestow separate Telangana."

Talking to reporters here on Monday, Mr. Reddy claimed Ms. Gandhi as "our leader." Asked when did she become leader of the Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS), the Minister said it was because of Ms. Gandhi that TRS representatives had become Ministers.

He did not agree that the issue was getting diluted and reasoned that even if the State was divided "we are all brothers." Incidentally, during his interaction with mediapersons, the Minister did not utter the name of his party chief, K. Chandrasekhara Rao.
