HYDERABAD, NOV. 20. The Telugu Desam Party on Saturday charged the Chief Minister, Y. S. Rajasekhara Reddy, with misrepresenting the High Court order setting aside tendering process for irrigation projects, instead of honouring it.

"He is making a desperate attempt to give an impression that the court has not admonished the Government, while the contrary is true," the Telugu Desam leaders, M. V. Mysoora Reddy, Ummareddy Venkateswarlu, R. Chandrasekhar Reddy and S. Maruthi, alleged at a press conference here on Saturday.

They disputed Dr. Reddy's contention that the court had struck it down on small technical grounds and that there were no damning remarks. "He is giving a new meaning to phrases like quashing and setting aside," they said and wanted the Government to consult the Law department before coming up with its own interpretation.
