DS vows all help to partymen 

 

Nizamabad, Nov. 21: Minister for Rural Development and Nizamabad MLA D Srinivas said “The Congress will never forget the services rendered by the party workers during the general elections in the district. With their efforts, the Congress won nine Assembly seats (of these three seats were won by the T R S in alliance with the Congress) and one Lok Sabha seat in the district. The party will recognise the services of them and extend cooperation whenever needed.”

The Minister along with Nizamabad Lok Sabha M P Madhu Goud Yashki, Banswada legislator Baji-reddy Govardhan, Bodhan legislator P Sudershan Reddy and leaders of Congress affiliated wings, including the Mahila Congress, Youth Congress, NSUI, BC, SC and ST and minorities attended the party workers’ meeting held under the aegis of the District Congress Committee on Sunday here.

Around 5,000 party workers from nine Assembly constituencies and from Nizamabad town and surrounding villages participated in the meeting. This was the first party workers’ meeting after Gadugu Gangadhar assumed charge as District Congress Committee president and also after the Congress won nine Assembly and one Parliament seat in the elections.

Party leaders, Niza-mabad municipal councillors, followers of the Minister, legislators and MP Madhu Goud Yashki and traders felicitated their leaders with hundreds of shawls and bouquets in the programme. District Congress Commi-ttee president Gadugu Gangadhar said that he would be available at the DCC office everyday to accept grievances of party workers and from the public.
