KARIMNAGAR, JAN 4. Expressing concern over disparities in the distribution of kerosene quota to ration card holders, the Minister for Civil Supplies, G. Vijaya Rama Rao, has said the Government is planning to review the existing system and distribute kerosene quota to all card holders uniformly.
Addressing a press conference here on Tuesday, the Minister said that presently kerosene was being distributed unequally in the State ranging from two litres to 19 litres. In Karimnagar it was two litres per month, in Vijayawada 12 litres and in Hyderabad it was 19 litres. He said the Government would accord priority to ensure more kerosene quota for the rural areas.
He also said the Government was planning to issue ration cards to all eligible families in the State.
